"Biggest Loser" Makes SBCH a Winner

Back in September 2009 during a wedding in one of our supporting churches a lady that attended "Liz Young" was on the last season of the TV show "Biggest Loser." 
 
On the show Liz had to run a marathon and if she completed (she didn't have to win - just complete) she was given $10,000 to donate to her favorite charity.  She did complete the week 12 marathon in 6:55:22 and chose Subic Bay Children's Home as her charity because of the display she saw on our missionary board in the church!
 
The home just received the $10,000 this week!! (Feb. 24)  We have known about it since December but didn't announce it until it was in the bank.
